In this meme we skit across the surface of the subject to present some problematics around hacking which I hope can act as points of departure for further explorations.

What has interested me for quite some time if the practice of hacking: how hacking has been and continues to be constructed as a response to an encounter with technology, and as the stuff of that encounter

                       or it might be simpler to focus on a "place," or site where such hacking is being constructed, such as America Online, The WELL, the Concordia mail server, etc.
